This amazing team provides strategic enterprise solutions, relating to Big Data and Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse, to its’ internal and external clients. What You Will Be Doing As a Business Intelligence/Advanced Analytics Strategist, you will focus on Big Data and BI/DW initiatives within the Federal Reserve System (FRS), and evangelize these initiatives to the Federal Reserve offices throughout the United States. Your ability to communicate, translate business values, and establish trusting relationships amongst your stakeholders will play a key part to the success to this role. You will also: • Interface with Senior Executives at the Federal Reserve and at the US Treasury • Define, propose, implement and promote Big Data and BI/DW project solutions and activities • Use excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to persuade our clients and gain their buy-in • Develop an enterprise Big Data/BI/DW road map using a wide variety of software and hardware • Conduct Proof of Concept, Pilot, and Implementation on a Big Data Architecture • Design and implement a scalable OLAP data model, ETL architecture, and report framework • Design, communicate, and enforce standards • Implement strong BI processes throughout the organization • Help troubleshoot and diagnose performance issues • Assist with performance tuning and query optimization • Implement the MDM Vision and Strategy • Research and recommend new tools at the FRS What We Are Looking For in Candidates • Demonstrate confidence in presenting, evangelizing and translating the business value of Big Data to C-Suite executives and internal/external stakeholders • Strong communications skills, with experience influencing others with well-developed recommendations • Have a strategic and in-depth technical understanding of BI/DW architectures • Experience building intensive data driven applications • Architecture experience with unstructured data and search experience Great If You Have • Experience designing and launching big data initiatives from the ground up • Background in Cybersecurity solutions • Previous Tier 1, Big 4 consulting experience • Experience in Data Visualization • Architecture experience with NoSQL Database systems • Architecture experience with unstructured data and search experience • Experience with Big Data security and governance Candidate Minimum Requirements • Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card holder for over 3 years and with the intent to become a US Citizen • 5+ years of Big Data experience, implementing solutions in Hadoop, MPP or other High computer platforms • 3+ years of strategic leadership related to BI reporting and advanced analytics business capabilities, strategies, and roadmaps Why Join Our Amazing Team • Multiple growth opportunities within the Federal Reserve System • Cutting edge technologies • Professional development, training and conferences, are strongly supported • Ability to telecommute • Tuition reimbursement program • Great benefits (Healthcare Options, Employer match 401K up to 6%, Pension Plan) • Tangible and impactful mission • Great team of IT professionals who are passionate, respectful, and driven to excellence ***At the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, we offer a wonderful benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Pre-tax Flexible Spending Account, Backup Child Care Program, Pre-tax Day Care Flexible Spending Account, Vacation Days, Sick Days, Paid Holiday’s, Pet Insurance, Matching 401(k), and a Retirement / Pension.***
