Society is moving towards a digital, intelligent future. All over the world, digital transformation is in the fast lane. All industries are turning to digital technology to boost resilience and productivity, and to reinvent their business models. Huawei leverages its industry exploration and practice and those of customers and partners. In his speech, Mr. Hu made proposed three strategies for today's enterprises: boosting digital infrastructure, making the most of cloud, and building a stronger digital ecosystem.
Mr. Hu pointed out cloud advantages of high efficiency, convenient access, and flexible resources. These advantages make cloud migration the indisputable choice for enterprise digital transformation. However, many enterprises still lack effective and easy use of the cloud, so Huawei Cloud integrates more than 240 services and 50,000 APIs to provide the latest AI, application development, and big data tools, as well as consulting support. These offerings are available on demand, making cloud-based innovation a real driver of digital development.
Mr. Hu then used Huawei Cloud AI to demonstrate how this innovation unleashes productivity for thousands of industries. In the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Professor Liu Bing's team developed super antibiotics using Huawei Cloud's Pangu drug molecular model, shortening the R&D cycle of lead drug compounds from several years to one month while reducing costs by more than 70%.
"At Huawei, we're doing what we can to help organizations go beyond simple cloud adoption and truly make the most of cloud," said Mr. Hu. "With the help of cloud, you can focus more on your own business innovation and achieve leapfrog development to go digital and smart."
In his keynote speech, Mr. Zhang said that Huawei Cloud will continue to enable thousands of industries in the future. Through Infrastructure as a Service, Technology as a Service, and Expertise as a Service, Huawei Cloud will provide Everything as a Service to unleash digital and build the cloud foundation for an intelligent world.
As one of the world's five leading clouds, Huawei Cloud is continuously building one global network to provide high-quality cloud services with consistent global experience. Huawei Cloud builds 3AZ data centers in Bangkok, Chonburi, and Samut Prakan, and provides website and consulting services in Thai.
"At present, we are planning greener and smarter cloud data centers around the world," said Mr. Zhang. Huawei Cloud will launch new Regions in Indonesia and Ireland in the near future. By the end of this year, Huawei Cloud's Regions will reach 29 and AZs will reach 75, covering more than 170 countries and regions.
Huawei Cloud provides secure, stable, and low-latency high-quality networks to build a 50 ms service experience circle, ensuring agile and efficient low-latency services for real-time multimedia, gaming, and online classes. Mr. Zhang pointed out that in the future, enterprises will no longer their own data centers, since Infrastructure as a Service on the cloud is available in one click, just like using water and electricity. Digital infrastructure capabilities will be convenient, economical, and environmentally friendly.
Huawei Cloud also focuses on building Technology as a Service. Enterprises do not need to invest heavily in general-purpose technology R&D, thanks to accessible cutting-edge technology. Such technology is available in the form of cloud services through Huawei Cloud's four pipelines for AI development, data governance, digital content production, and software development. With the help of the cloud, enterprises innovate even more easily.
