You can define the position by entering the index and separated by comma. For Example 4,7,10 to get 3 Sub Totals.

You can use either 1) Value & Reference Value fields OR  2) just the Value field.

In Case 1, deviation between reference and value will be calculated and displayed. Total Value = Start Value +/- Movement (increase/decrease)

If you use “Starting Value” field you have to use “Value” field as well.

We have the same issue as others, approved versions  take 3 weeks to be released, because the Power BI team will review every version submitted. That’ s why you will always find here the latest version with hottest features and functions.

Import the Custom Visual. Save the Power BI Desktop File. Close Power BI Desktop and re-open it. In case of persistent Problems: Please clear cache of the browser, to remove Power BI Desktop cache you need to remove everything in “C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop” excepting user.zip and try to use the visual again.

The Free Edition has no watermarks but limited functionality like missing start value and limited to one sub total only.

We support now more than one Column in the Starting field and in the Value field as well. The Columns will be simply summed up and displayed as one total sum.

We support now Columns/Value Fields placed in the beginning and in the end of the Waterfall Chart. But the values do NOT count into the calculation of the waterfall. They are just rendered as Normal Bar.

It is to disable Report Level Filters on for First Bar, Last Bar and Start bar.  So once you filter the Report, the Bars do not respond once the setting is set to on. The Setting can be set on/off.

If isNode equals to 1, we display a sub total in the category Waterfall. The value of the sub total will be taken from data and will not be calculated. Download a Demo File
